VISION STATEMENT
At Thornwood Primary School and Nursery Class we will continue to provide a safe, caring and welcoming environment where every child and staff member will ‘be the best they can be’.
We aim to:-
Prove a nurturing and secure environment where children, staff and parents/carers feel happy and are valued
Encourage each child to become a successful learner by providing challenging and stimulating experiences
Promote awareness of health and wellbeing throughout the school to encourage healthy and active lifestyles
Develop the personalities, talents, abilities, and ambitions of our young people in a supportive, inclusive culture where we value each other’s individuality and diversity
To strengthen relationships with all by continuing to create a positive ethos
To provide a broad, general education which meets individual needs
- To equip pupils with the skills, attitudes and expectations necessary to prosper
- To encourage pupils to have a sense of pride in themselves and in our school community
In doing this we will ensure that each child’s time at Thornwood will be happy and a good foundation for life, enabling them to be Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.
